Sensient's Fragrance business originated more than 90 years ago, specialising in distilling Essential Oils and in the extraction and application of aromatic substances and was founded in Granada, Spain, where the combination of climate and local flora provided a ready source of high quality raw materials. The company diversified into the production of Aroma Chemicals in the 60s. The portfolio was further expanded with the addition of Fragrance compounding capabilities in the early 70s enabling us to supply distinctive fragrances to the household and personal care industries.
